Archive of the Cairo Branch

The Cairo branch stores the Tell el-Dab’a-Archive. This contains the original protocols (digging diaries) and copies of all drawings (excavation and objects) until 2009. All slides are stored in Cairo, all of them also digitalised.

The copies of the protocols and the originals of the drawings (excavation and copies) until 2009 and black and white negatives a are stored at the commission for Egypt and the Levant of the Austrian Academy of Sciences at the moment. All documentation since 2010 is stored in Cairo as well as at the Central branch of the OeAI in Vienna.
